HELP! Undo doesn't work !!!! ???????

What's wrong with microsoft?
First undo doesn't seem to always go back step by step , sometimes it gives
weird messages.

Today I accidentaly "lost" a whole panel with around 20 controls that took
me 2 hours to fix. Now i cannot even compile. all the definitions have
stayed in the designer-generated code and gives me a whole bunch of missing
definitions ...!!!!

First of all are you using 2003 or 2002, as I believe this was a known bug
in 2002, so if you are you should upgrade. Secondly, if you are using 2003,
then is this problem with just the one project or all.

Is this a regular problem or one which keeps repeating itself with more that
one project, if so I recommend you do a repair on your os, check for viruses
and if that's clear, then re-install.

If its still bugging you, may have to rebuild the project. The designer is
finicky, if you try and repair the damage it needs to be exactly right so
you may want to compare it with similar code, or simply rebuild the screwed
form.

Finally, I have not had this problem at all on 2003.
