Help Understanding Reason for IE Crash

For the first time in ten years, I had IE tell me that it was going to shut
down due to an "error." Here is the info given in the Event Viewer. Can
anyone explain what it means? Why it happened? Is there anything I should do
to "correct" whatever caused it?

Faulting application iexplore.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180, faulting module
urlmon.dll, version 6.0.2900.2627, fault address 0x00039086.

Try going to start > run > type in - regsvr32 urlmon.dll
When are you getting this error? When you open IE? When you close IE?

It happened while IE had been open for quite some time and I was Web
surfing, following links from a Google search.
