I am unable to save a file to a CDRW that has been copied to many times by
me.

I get a "save as" error message that says "you do not have permission to
save in this directory. See the administrator to obtain permission."

My computer is a home computer, I have no administrator. I did however
try MS XP base line security advisor which wouldn't work as well. During my
attempts I changed the name of my computer, and don't recall its prior name.
Somehow I suspect this is related to my problem.

Help would be appreciated.

You need to logon as the administrator.

Original Administrator Account Does Not Appear During Friendly Logon Method

Enable Administrator account on Welcome Screen
