I just got infected by this adware which webroot
dectected, just wondering if this adware is part of
Microsoft New MSN Search Toolbar and Window Desktop
Search because this is the only application i installed.
Is it ok to delete this? because right now i got it
quarantine.

I tried scanning it with microsoft and it didn't detect
this adware at all, i think they need to update there
definitions.

oh yea this adware is also called a abetterinternet. I
didn't turn on the spysweer realtime protection as i
forgot to turn it back on, the reason i found out that i
had adware installed is that when i connect to the
internet, i saw a page not found 404 when i was on the
MSN website all i see is 404 page not found. this is why
i'm wondering if Microsoft is affliate with this company

spysweeper had detected this when i manually scan my
computer and microsoft didn't.

I don't know what site had that adware i got but i know
that I was looking for a site with reviews on the New MSN
Search toolbar and Window Desktop Search so if you wan't
to test out MSAS real-time protection go to a site that
has reviews on MSN Search toolbar and Window Desktop
Search it on there somewhere.
