HELP: Switchboard Buttons & Backdoor

ACCESS 2000

On my switchboard I have 3 standard Command Buttons, and one of the buttons
is CLOSE SWITCHBOARD; this button closes the switchboard but the file is
still open, and it is for top level users to go into the database and make
modifications.

The problem I am having is with lower level users, and here is what I need
to acomplish:

1. To code this button so when you click it, it would only allow top level
users to close the switchboard and the database window would open up and
lower level users would get an error message saying, "Access Denied"
-or- to place a password behind the button so when you press you will be
prompted to enter a password, and if you are incorrect you will be sent back
to the switchboard.
2. When I "X" out the switchboard, access is still open, but all one has to
do is go to FILE and select #1 from the recently used list and that person
(regardless of their security level) are in the database window. Where and
what code do I need to input that would bring up the LOGON window?

please do not post copies of your message to multiple newsgroups. You
really don't need folks typing answers only to find you already got an
answer in another post.
