Help - Spyware

I am running Earthlink which has a spyware program. However, there is
something in my system that is causing myIE to bug out all over the
place, and the Earthlink Spyware blocker isn't gettng it, plus I can't
update.

According to Microsoft it is:

ContestPlus Apropos Media
and something called Power Scan.

I downloaded ADWare but then it asked me to pay for it.

Does anyone know where I can get something free to get rid of this?
