Help! Splitting issue

Hello,
I recently posted a question and did not receive feedback and because it is
very important for me to clarify this issue I took the liberty of asking
again. I know you guys are great and will assist me.

This is my situation, I have a split database with the BE having the tables
and relationships. Initially users would use the subdatasheets in a table to
access other tables in the DB. I tried doing so in the BE and it worked fine
yet in my FE I was unable to do so. When I try to pull down the
subdatasheets by going to Insert;Subdatasheets in the toolbar, all I see is a
shaded gray that does not let me select the subdatasheets option. I am not
sure if I missed a step while splitting, or if it has to do with group
permissions or maybe it's not even possible to use the subdatasheet feature
in the FE.

Hi Patty,

I think you probably didn't get an answer because most people don't allow
users to enter/view data directly through the tables. You should create
forms for this.
