HELP - skins are killing me

I downloaded a search bar, which i like, but it came with
skins which bog my computer and freeze it regularly. I
can't figure out how to get rid of them. Does someone out
there know how, and know how to explain it to a non
techy.

Goto Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the utility if you don't plan to use it.

Hotbar and the like install Spyware.
