HELP!! Screen blank on start up!!

I was having trouble trying to update the driver for the
TFT monitor (SHARP LL-T15A4).. I couldnt get into
Display->Settings->advanced->monitors->properties
because the button was "greyed out"...
I think I inadvertently unisntalled the default
monitor....AAARGH!!!
Later I rebooted and now Windows XP wont display....

I know Windows is running in the background ( I can hear
it log on + msn messenger auto-logs me in as well) but
the screen just goes blank!!!

Please can someone help me!!! I have so much work on
this machine and I cant afford to lose it!!!

P.S. I have tried logging in to Windows using "safe-mode"
but it just reboots itself....

if you have uninstalled the screen the computer is recked

well the only way i can think of is try starting up your
computer with last known good config that worked. if that
doesn't work try reintalling that main windows files by
using setup and recover files if that doesn't work it may
come to the worst and reinstall windows

best thing i can suggest to get ur windows back is call
your internet server technical support,,be sure to take
note of instruction if ur on a dial up connection,ask ur
server if they have free disk to help u troubleshoot in
critical times like this,be sure u got ur monitor and
WinXp software ready if tecchy asks u to do
something,,when u get ur windows back,,the best way
updating your driver from product website,get ur product
model handy when u update driver.going on the safe mode
would limit you doing other stuffs like downloading,ask
ur techhy if u need to reset your BIOS cuz that might
also got messed up..so good luck and hope u dont need to
reformat at all.
