Help Runtime error

For the last few days when we're connected to the internet suddenly a dialogue box comes up with; Microsoft Visual C +++ Runtime Library, runtime error, Program:C/program files/internet explorer/IEXPLORE.EXE - abnormal program termination. When we close the box, internet closes dow

how do i fix this?????

Another possibility:
From Internet Options> Advanced, if you have Sun Java and microsoft VM
(virtual machine) uncheck Sun Java.
