Rotated text(smaller than 8pt) on the graph axis bitmaps when an Excel
spreadsheet is pasted into Powerpoint and printed to a Postscript printer.

Font print correctly to a PCl printer.

Rotated text(smaller than 8pt) on the graph axis bitmaps when an Excel
spreadsheet is pasted into Powerpoint and printed to a Postscript printer.

Check your PS driver settings. There'll be an option that sets the level
(expressed in pixels, ISTR) at which the driver sends bitmap vs text fonts.

Printer properties dialog, Device Settings tab
Minimum font size to download as outline
Maximum font size to download as bitmap

Try setting the minimum value very small and set the max to maybe 100 or 50 and
see if that helps.

But before mucking with that, go to Tools, Options, Print tab and put a check
next to "Print inserted objects at printer resolution" and try printing once.
