I am a new user to Outlook. I would like to use it in a home setting to
organize child care schedules, appointments etc. with my ex-spouse who lives
at another location. We both use Outlook 2002.

What we would like is to be able to create schedules that we can make
changes to and both be able to review. Is this possible? I have been
using the Calendar to schedule now but I would like her to be able to share
this schedule on her computer as well. It would save many phone calls and
since we both work shifts that cange frequently mid-week it would be great
to be on the same page at all times.

Is this a possibility or not? I guess what I am looking for is a few
pointers on how to set this up.

Many thanks in advanceif anyone can help.

You cannot share a calendar without Exchange in your situation (living in
separate domiciles.) However, see this page for possible workarounds:

Can you not simply email the calendar somehow? So it could be opened in
Outlook?

You can export your calendar to a .pst file (rename it to outlook.ps_ as
Outlook now bans these types of attachments) and mail it.

You can also use this template to create a Calendar in Word and just mail
that:
http://www.slipstick.com/addins/calendar.htm#print My Outlook Calendar is
one of my personal favorites as you can do all kinds of things with the
formatting once you have created the Word document.

Oh, and reading through the options there reminds me that you can publish
your calendars to the Web for the other to access. Does your ISP give you
some Personal Web space? Most allow their subscribers 50 mb or so.
