Help - Problem with update query

I have two tables with one table being updated. The update query works fine
in design view, however, when I go back to the table to view the results, I
don’t see any values where there should be. Has anyone else experienced this
problem?

I’ve searched the Internet to find out what’s causing this problem but I’ve
been unable to find anything. Is there a service pack patch that I should
have downloaded to correct this problem?

You say it "works fine in design view." You can not see results in design
review, only the prompt that says you are about to update X number of rows.

What are you seeing?
