Help!! PowerPoint won't open

I got Vista Ultimate When I try to open up PowerPoint it comes up with a box
with just files in it,Like user files. Am I missing something in the
PowerPoint program it work at one time until I got the new Vista update
 
Have you tried double clicking a PowerPoint file? How exactly are you trying
to open it currently?
