Help plz!!!

sorry i dont know how to ask questions on this properly
but i am not perfect like the rest of you anyways i chose
to reformat my main hd and i used the windows xp cd to
help me do that i went through the whole process and it
finished and installed windows and everything and now my
main hd c: is now a generic file type according to
windows i dont know how this happend but i cannot access
my hd.
 
You may have formatted your HD as FAT16 for FAT32. In
which case you can convert the drive by running the
following command from a command prompt
"CONVERT c: /FS:NTFS"

Even those of us who are far less than perfect know how to use Capital Letters
and Punctuation to prepare a readable post. Please try again with more detail
in a more understandable form and I'm sure someone, perhaps even one of The
Perfect Ones will be able to help you.
