Help...please...

I'm trying to set up a home network with the following PC's, and I'm able to
ping from the desktop to the laptop, as well as open and write files to the
shareddocs folder on the laptop. Problem is that I can't do anything in the
other direction. Here's my setup:

Wired/Wireless Router:
D-Links DI-514, WEP active w/ 126 bit encryption. Optional network name =
Homeoffice.

Desktop:
Static IP: 192.168.0.103
Running Win XP Pro w/ SP-2.
Workgroup name = Homeoffice
Running McAfee Firewall with "Trust computers on LAN" turned on.
Accept ICMP Ping requests = on.
Windows Firewall turned off.
Hardwired to Router through ethernet cable.
Am able to access the internet, as well as ping and access laptop below.
Network neighborhood shows shared resources on the laptop which I can open
to see shareddocs folder and available printers.

Laptop:
Static IP: 192.168.0.101
Running Win XP Home w/ SP-2.
Workgroup name = Homeoffice
Running McAfee Firewall with "Trust computers on LAN" turned on.
Accept ICMP Ping requests = on.
Windows Firewall turned off.
Wirelessly connected to Router.
Am able to access the internet, and I can ping the routers default gateway,
but that's it. When I try to ping the Desktop, the ping command times out.
Does not show shared resources on Desktop. In order to see the desktop, I
have to go into "View Workgroup Computers". Once there, if I double click on
the Desktop's icon, I get a permission error.

Any ideas? I've spent a week reading, researching, trying, buying network
support packages at CompUSA, etc. all to no avail. Any help would be welcome!
