i can find the formula for a pecentage

I need what pecentage is 272 of 501.

in math the formula would be 272/501 X 100

but when i put that in the cell is says i can't divide by zero
please help me by giving me the exact formula i need to put in to ge

Use

=272/501*100

Or, if the values are in cells, something like
=A1/B1*100
