HELP... Please! How do I do something in auto correct?

At least I think that's what I want?
I have MS office 2007 firstly... I enjoy the cool features etc on it.
But I have this niggling problem and I dunno where to find the answers,
please can someone help me and save my life?
When I used to type a sentance with the letter "i" in (as in I am here etc)
it always used to auto correct it for me to make it into a capitial "I"...
then about four meeks ago or so it stopped doing so and I am not sure why.
I have tried everything I can think of... from checking & unchecking boxes
right to uninstalling and reinstalling the whole thing; and othing seems to
be working. Can someone point me in the right direction? I have a laptop with
vista and MS 2007 on and this doesn't do it... I use my college computers
with 2003 on and it doesn't happen on them either... what am I doing wrong?
Please thank you so so much!

In Word 2007, click on Office Button | Word Options | Proofing |
AutoCorrect Options | AutoCorrect tab. Check the "Replace text as you
type" box. Scroll down the list of AutoCorrect entries and make sure
there is an entry to replace i with I.

Oh thank you a millions times...
You are the master and I cannot thank you enough.
May your year be filled with joy and happiness and should anyone upset you;
their butt shall be infested with a thousand fleas and their arms will become
to short to scratch it... (in other words; thank you so much you are
wonderful...)

Hi there
Mine is all set up but for some reason as I am typing the red line is not
appearing under misspelled words. I feel like someone turned off the
switch(lol) Any place I can look.
