Help, PC can not boot

My PC, K755A mother board & Win2000, will boot for a certain length of time
(10 ~ 20 minutes), then shut itself off. I have to wait for a certain
length of time, then reboot again. The cycle just recur all the time.

I thought it was the power supply unit (fan failure) that raised the
temperture, so I replaced with a new power supply unit today, it became even
worse, now it can only boot starting for a few seconds, then off and quiet,
I have to wait for a long time, turn power supply unit off/on a few times,
then it may boot starting for a few seconds again.

ps: I saw the CPU fan, and another case fan, all run well, so it is not a
temperature issue.

Pull all the data cables loose, and all the power connectors to the drives
.... and see if it will post and
hold without rebooting. If it does, then replace each
device one at a time and see if you can spot the problem
device. I would suspect the hard drive. But if the mobo
alone reboots, that is a little harder to pin down, but
the highest probability is the mobo. Right now, I'm
guessing hard drive.
