Help outlook 2003 won't sennd and recieve

I am using Vista Home with Office 2003. All other programs work like a
champ, but Outlook when trying to send and recieve to people. I have been
all over looking for the answer to this. I am on Mindspring and all the
settings are as they wanted, port 587 / no ssl / outgoing requires the
following. I have been up one wall and down the other. Could somebody please
help?
 
When you view the send/receive progress, are there any errors? Has this
worked before?
