Help on Filtering

Hi,

I have a spreadsheet with a list of names in column A and some detail
about them on column B. in a single name there are about 20 or mor
details about them so the manes are repeated over and over again.

My Question is How can I display their names only once in column A.
just need to get the names of the employees on the spreadsheet.

Example:
Column A Column B

Mr. A B-day
Mr. A Adress
Mr. A School
Mr. A .......
Mr. B B-day
Mr. B Adress
Mr. B School
Mr. B .......
and so on....

Filter it to:

Column A
Mr. A
Mr. B
and so on...

I'm making an assumption that what you need is simply a list of all the
Employees identified in column A and that list can be seperate. Assuming
this is correct, I would use a Pivot Table. At the very minimum the range
for the table would be column A.

Use Data>Advanced filter
Check Copy to another location
Fill in List range
Check Unique Records only
Click OK

Et voilà!

Mr. C 16
Mr. C 17

Mr. C 19
Mr. C 20
