Hi,

I need some advice on setting up DFS. is it possible that
DFS can be setup one one server and then its replica on
the another server(NAS), so that it is replicated on
regular intervals.what i want is if in case the primary
DFS fails due to any reason, we can always route the users
to the replicated DFS located on another server.

Can this be done, any comments.
please help.

Thanx

Yes, all that is within the normal operation of DFS. You do need to decide
whether you want to have both replicas always available, which can cause
problems if multiple users open the same file, or if you want to have to
manually "switch" over to the standby replica when necessary.

Can you point to any document or reference where i can
find more info on this..

thanx a lot for your help.

So you suggest the tool that is in windows 2003 works
fine in windows 2000 environment.

please advise.
