Help Needed

I have a file in which there are number of fields i.e. Serial No.
Faculty Name, Class/Section, Subject, Credit Hours viceversa.

Faculty Names are typed in Col B whereas Credit Hours are mentioned in
Col E. I want to know about a formula by using which I could sum/add
credit hours automatically.

Suppose Michael is teaching to three different sections say BIT, MIT,
BEE 3.5 2.5 and 4 credit hours respectively.

Now I wanna know about a formula which can calculate credit hours, If
i select Michael and similarly other faculty members.
