help needed with java, or i don't know what anymore.....

On this site par example:

u have a 3d animation from a telephone, like many other sites...but if
i want to see this,
a new window opens and i see a little icon with a red cross in
the upper left side of this popup-window....
also on sites with games i see this...
What is my problem?
I have winXP-Pro incl. SP2, firewall is turned out, and security
options is on low, virusscanner NAV is disabled.
altough flash is installed, many sites also ask for install flash and
every time i do this, but this have no effect....
Is there somebody who can help me with this problem?
