Help needed on this error message

The instruction at "0x74706b41" referenced memory at "0x74706b41". The memory could not be read.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem or where to ask on one of these forums about it? This just keeps popping up from time to time.

Not a file that i've come across before. Can you do a
search for the file "apev.exe" and post back with where
it lives on your hard drive, this will help assess what
it is and where it comes from.

the program contains a bug, which causes it to attempt to
read and or write memory that is not in it's address space.
this can be caused my attempting to read a disk file that
is not there or empty, or from a variety of other
programming errors. You cannot fix it, except if you have
been tampering with stuff you can re-install it.
