Help: Menubar Word2k

Hello. I am running office2k on a winxp machine. My menubars an
toolbars in Word2k don't work all the time. Sometimes word will not le
me click on anything on the toolbar or the menubar. If I need to acces
something on the menubar, I have to use the keyboard and navigate wit
the arrow keys. Even with the menus dropped down, I still can't d
anythign with the mouse. The mouse works fine, though. I can highligh
and move text around with no problems. To fix the problem, I have t
close off word and restart it. Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi DungGah,

I've seen this, VERY occasionally. But never did with Office 2000. It
started with a new computer and Office XP. I have to assume it's a
conflict the mouse driver runs into every blue moon, or so. As you say, a
restart of Word makes it go away...

Since it's so seldom, here, I don't worry about it overly much. If it's
plaguing you, I'd look into downloading the newest driver for your mouse
and replacing the one on your machine (which could be damaged)
