help me please!!

I want to install a game called maplestory on my pc and when the
widows installer pops up it says "preparing to insatall"..... and
stays like that nothing and happends. I leave it for like an hour and
when i come back it says "the server has timed out" this happends
every time, i have tryed to install diffrent programs but it is the
same avery time..

You should never let an application run for more than 10-12 minutes with out
seeing some results,otherwise end it..Also,try exiting the regular
installation
method,try going to my computer,with the cd installed,R.click on the cdrom,
select open,locate the set-up file (usually the .exe),double click on it to
run.

I've had the same problem before and I just shut down my personel firewall ,
it works everytime.
