I may be the wrong newsgroup, but i keep getting this error and I don't know
what is is:
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80004005'
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] The Microsoft Jet database engine
stopped
the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same
data at
the same time.

I have followed the technet site instructions but to no avail, any help
would be good.

It means that you and another "user" (which could be you too) are trying to
change the same data record at the same time.

There are many ways this error could arise..... but we'd need a lot more
info from you before we can begin to make suggestions about what to do to
fix your situation.

You could do a search on Microsoft's KnowledgeBase for Error 3197 for some
ideas about this.

Please explain the context. You know the structure of your database
and what you're trying to do; we don't!

How is your database structured? What are you linking to using ODBC?
What operation are you performing which generates this error?

I think you have a newer ODBC table than you have your version of Access.
Try downloading a ODBC driver from Microsoft Dowloads.
