My copy of XP Pro (SP2) was re-installed about 5 days ago, and all was
running fine. I've got the same programs on here as before, and it was
working up until 10am this morning..

Every so often, which is becoming incresaingly frustrating, the PC will
stop responding to everything running, except one window (which seems
to be random) which will keep responding. It will lock up for about 30
seconds.

Other than that, it seems to randomly open the "right-click menu" and
the onl way to be able to get rid of it is to right click a few times.

If anyone can shed any light on this, that'd be great. I've got the
betas of Office 2007 and IE7.. Other than that, it's all standard.

Windows Defender doesn't find anything, nor does McAffee VirusScan

Thanks,
Alex

You do know that beta software is not in final form, right?

If you're a Microsoft beta tester you can ask your question in the beta
forums.

Yes, I do know what BETA software is...

Problem is sorted anyway, had a standard mouse connected and a USB
mouse connected also, which were conflicting for some reason.. Removing
either one solved the problem..

Weird, yes, but still... Resolved.
