help me for dropdown list

i want to create a drop down list in sheet 1 using data validation, bu
my target file is on sheet no.2 so i am unable to select my targe
data. can you please guide me how to do that. i have already maile
this but that didnt work

you have to define a nmae for your validation list and use this in your
data validation dialog

Define a workbook name for the range on Sheet2, and user that name in the DV
list.
