help mbr

can any one send me info on how to restore my mbr as this
virus has invalidated it or where can i get an xp start
up disk as i can not gain acess to my c drive to initiate
sys restore

Hi Phil,

First, boot an AV floppy or CD (most AV programs provide for one of these).
Clean the system first. Then boot the WinXP CD and run the Recovery Console,
run fixboot from the command prompt.
