Help making index.html the default new page

I would like to know if there is a setting within FP03 to make index.html
the default page for the first new page in a folder. I have not changed
servers, I only upgraded from FP2K to FP03 and the change occurred only
since the upgrade to FP03. I know the server usually determines the default
index page, but I'm not getting an index page, I'm getting new_page_1.htm
even when the folder is empty. FP2K made the first new page in an empty
folder index.html without any additional work from me.

Its a little thing, but it's annoying to have to rename the page every time
I start a new folder. There are other things that I find annoying, but only
because they are done so differently from FP2K (I had a similar experience
when upgrading from FP98 to FP2K, but I eventually got used to it). Overall,
I like many of the improvements. Some are not so great though.

I have only seen FP do this when you create a new page while in folder view.

I'll look into that, but I think it happens no matter what view I'm using (I
think I tried it a few different ways for that reason, but the mind is a
little shot lately)
