You're trying to open a Word 2007-format file with an earlier version
of Word. The .dotx format is actually a zip file that contains XML
data. (The first two characters, PK, are the initials of Phil Katz,
who wrote PKZip, the original zip compression program.)
If you have Word 2007, use it to open the document. If you don't have
Word 2007, get the compatibility pack from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=941B3470-3AE9-4AEE-8F43-C6BB74CD1466.
If you don't have time to download the compatibility pack (it's a
large download plus time to install it), you can get the unformatted
text out of it: In the My Computer window, make a copy of the
document. Change its extension to .zip, and then double-click it.
Within the zip file, go to the folder named "word" and double-click
the document.xml file. It will open in Internet Explorer, from which
you can copy the text (which unfortunately will be mixed in with lots
of XML coding, but it's all there).

How can i get them back to the text i wrote. They are very important and
need them urgently.
