Regarding templates in Word 2003. All the templates that appear in the
Templates dialog box are actually in Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates
in my computer. Tabs in the Templates dialog box don't appear anywhere as
subfolders. The only template that appears in C:\Documents and
Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Templates is NORMAL. As a MOS
certified Word user, this was a bit upsetting and took time to find
everything. I, therefore, haven't tried to make new Tabs yet. If location
information is wrong, then the instructions may prove wrong, too. I'll find
out soon enough. Perhaps MS's proofreader should take a second look at these
helps files.
