Help in saving the movie ANYWHERE!!

We have been working on saving a project with little success. We did send it
to the DV camera and copied to VHS tape but had to add a black tile at the
beginning of the project because the vcr cut off the first few seconds of the
movie. We added a 5 second black clip to the project and have had no luck in
trying to send it back to the camera again. Keep getting the msg that it now
exceeds the 4 gigabyte limit supported by the current system, FAT32. ???
ugh. Please someone help.

What operating system are you using? Windows 95/98?

Yes, FAT32 has a 4 gb file size limitation. Time to convert the drive to
NTFS.

In the meantime Save the file in two separate sections so you don't lose
all your work.

If you do decide to convert your file system to NTFS (highly highly
recommended anyway) here is how you do it:

Start->Run then type CMD

Then in the CMD prompt window type:

CONVERT C: /FS:NTFS /X

Note: Most likely CONVERT will prompt something like "the volume cannot be
locked..... Would you like the file system to be converted on the next reboot
(Y or N)" Say yes and then shutdown and restart your system.

Thank you all so much. We were able to convert to NTFS and now have a clean
copy on a VHS tape. Thanks a million!!
