help in refering to a range named in a cell

Hi to all,

I am trying to use a regular vlookup formula in which I could refer to
a range not by specifying a name but by refering to a cell in which
the range is named.

example: =vlookup(a1;b1;2;false)

where; b1 is the name of the range I am referring to.

Is this possible?
