I downloaded the free little template (called crmfree2007.zip). I configured
my attachment to be like your example. My drawing still appears as an icon.

The drawings I have are Visio drawings. (Maybe Visio drawing can't be show?)

Is there a way to show this just like your example on the form. If I wish
to open it, I would double click the picture.

I was able to do this with OLEBounded objects, and I am trying to get away
from OLE.

Can you help?

Thank You,

Gary

Sorry I have only used the basic attachments field as it works. My guess
would be you have to
do it the same way you did before Access2007. I do know some types will
show as an actual image with the
attachments field. I don't think you can configure Access or windows in a
way so the attachments field will display other types of files.
I could be wrong? Perhaps a microsoft person could tell you how the guts of
the attachment control work. I looked under help
and it just says it will display images that are supported.

Do you have to store them as visio, or possibly supplement the visio file
with a picture?

Sorry I can't help more,
Mark
