HELP! I deleted my My Music Folder and Can't Re-add the path to Registry...

David

I changed the path to my My Music special folder which
was fine but then i changed the location of the folder
again and when I went in TweakUI to change the path to
the correct location but the My Music special folder was
no longer listed. The link to My Music in my start menu
also disappeared and if I tried to add it back via the
Start Menu properties it wouldn't add the My Music link
or menu.

I went into the registry
(HkeyCurrentUser/Software/Microsoft/Windows/Shell
Folders) and the path name for My Music folder was
blank! I added the correct path name and closed regedit
but when I restarted and checked it again, the pathname
was again blank. Is there any way to get my My Music
folder back as a special folder so I can add it to the
start menu next to MyDocs and the other things?

here are some pictures to help show what i'm talking
about...

David,

Try typing "shell:my music" without quotes in a Start Run dialog.

I hope this helps,
