Help I can't pop forward my google mail to my new windows mail

Hi, I've followed the instructions, deleted the account and tried again for
the past two weeks. I follow everything to the letter and I still wont work.
I used to have it working from my old thunderbird acc.

It says the authentication setting might not be correct.

the rejected email address subject photo account pop.gmail.com server
smtp.gmail.com protocol smtp server response 530.570 must issue a starttls
command first.

Sounds like you have the wrong port setting for smtp.

Under your account settings, go to advanced and under smtp make sure the box
is checked for SSL and that the port number is 465. If for some reason you
still can't sent mail use port setting 595. I think either will work, but I
have heard cases where it for some reason is one or the other.

The settings for that Gmail account are not correct.
Make sure your settings agree with this:
