Help Hotmail does download any files (.doc .xls etc)

Hi,

Please could you advise on the following error message I receive whilst
trying to download any files from my hotmail.com account.

"Internet Explorer cannot download ...tmail.com&_lang=EN&country=UK from
64.4.22.250

Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. The requested
site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later."

I can telnet to 64.4.22.250 on port 80 successfully, so this is not blocked
on my firewall.

Please advise

Try, in IE, clearing all temp files

Thanks. Just tried clearing the temp and cache files in IE and still get
this error message.
