help help

my son got a new i-pod from santa and i got a new nikon camera from my son.
we have downloaded the programs that came with it and they downloaded fine
and put an i con on my desktop...the problem is when i click on the i-con the
program opens and closes immediatley.....please help so i can use my new
camera....thanks

Ask the Author of the program you are having a niggle with. This is NOT
an XP problem.

Breeze, when you post a message to a newsgroup, it's best to give it a
subject that describes the issue, rather than a generic help help. In
your case something like Camera and Ipod Software Won't Run.

Some people will see the generic help subject line and just continue to
the next post.

WRT your problem start with this. What is the malware status of the
computer? Do you have a current AV program and a combination of other
anti-spyware / adware / malware programs which you regularly run scans
with in safe mode?
