HELP! Growth % reflected in a visual diagram

Flojoe

I have the data but do not know how to show it in a visual scatter gram or
smokestacks or anything? What I would like to show is how in the last 3
years we SOWs have increased (a lot) and the revenue has doubled in the last
2 years -- I really want to make sure that they can see the 92% & 95% growth
& see the add'l work efforts that need to be applied -- PLEASE HELP me to
show that in a visual -- THANK YOU!!!

SecureCode SOWs 2006 2007 2008
SOW Count 4 16 45
SOW Revenue $93,500 $179,600 $351,400
SOW Growth 92.08% 95.65%

Sorry Herbert but the link you provided I could not access -- I joined as a
free member and still could not access this link -- your assistance would be
wonderful. Thank you!

The link is now available. I didn't publish until this morning, because I
hadn't finished the article.

Revenues per count are exponentially decaying, and an unscientific case can
be made that this figure is asymptotically approaching $6000 per unit. In
some situations, this may be good, for example, if SOW refers to projects
undertaken for a given client, more smaller projects means that cancellation
of a project by one client will have less of an effect on revenues, costs,
resource deployment, etc.

However, I know nothing about these numbers, so I am only guessing.

Was a bit of a challenge but I think it looks great -- the only minor item is
I can't get the 2006, 2007, 2008 to be at the bottom like you show them what
am I not doing? Thanks!

Format the category axis, and on the patterns tab (Excel 2003 & earlier)
choose Low for Axis Labels. In 2007 I think this is on the first tab when
you format the axis.
