Help!-FrontPage Issue- Cannot Solve

A

AA

Here's a situation, I've been having a problem with. I have a user that
keeps having her FrontPage 2002 crash whenever she attempts to work on a
certain page. FrontPage simply shuts down. Sometimes that is all that
happens or other times I get the Window appearing whether I want to send the
error report to Microsoft

Looking in the Event logs I see this:

Faulting application frontpg.exe, version 10.0.6308.0, faulting module
shell32.dll, version 5.0.3900.7009, fault address 0x000abd2c.

or this:

Faulting application frontpg.exe, version 10.0.6308.0, faulting module
mso.dll, version 10.0.6735.0, fault address 0x0004cbcc.

When I log her out of Windows 2000 and I login with my user profile, launch
FrontPage on her PC, I can make the edits and everything works.

Is there any suggestions as to what may be the problem. I have a feeling it
is profile related. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app with all 3
Service Packs, no change.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Try cleaning out and FP temp and web cache files in her profile
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp Files
Usually in C:\WINDOWS\Temp and %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temp
- in FP 2003 you need to look in the super hidden folder
%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\FrontPageTempDir
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web files
Usually in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Microsoft\Web Server Extensions\Cache

Also clear her IE temp and Windows Temp files
