HELP - Forumlas don't pick up new values

I am doing a spreadsheet that tracks numbers on a daily basis. It takes
the numbers and rolls them into a cosolidated "Monthly" spreadsheet.
It was working just fine yesterday and when I protected it and sent it
to a friend the formulas don't automatically reconfigure the numbers
when they change.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dd friend make changes? If so, what?

Does F9 cause the formulae to recalculate?

If so, have you checked (literally) Tools>Options
Calculation>Automatic?
