HELP! -EXCEL 97 FILE SAVES NORMALLY, OPENS AS READ-ONLY

User is using Excel 97, saves spreadsheet normally, non-read-only to a folder
on a network volume. subsquent users who try to open this cannot, saying it
is a read-only file.

If the developer of the workbook saves it to a network share that the other
users don't have write access, then excel and windows will know this and open
the file as readonly.

Are you sure the other folks have write access to that share/folder?
