Help Errors

I was hopeing some one could help me we have a laptop ASUS and it has windows XP we tried to put a wireless telstra bordband thing on and when it installed it asked me to restart the computer so i did and now when it starts up no icons come up on the desk top just the background Picture and then after 5 to 10 minutes the icons come up and 2 errors appear and 1 says SyncML failed to load Winsock Services and the other is Mdm Mgr Windows sockets intialization failed so i looked it up on google and they come up with this fix thing RegCure\RegCure.exe" so i put it on and it wont even open it , its just saying Windows sockets faild

someone please help
