I am soo embarrassed! In my lame attempt to make my computer stop working so
slow I deleted Microsoft Works.. not realizing it would delete Word and
Excel.. HOW do I .. or can I restore??? Is it possible??
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
You need to locate the original installation CDs for your Microsoft
Office. These applications are never included as part of Windows.
Some new computer manufacturers will include an OEM version of
Microsoft Office bundled with a new computer, in which case the cost
of this product is added into the price of the computer.
If your Windows came preinstalled on a new computer and Microsoft
Office was also included then you need to locate the installation or
System Recovery disks that came with the computer and use these to
replace your Microsoft Office.
WARNING:!!!!!!!!!!!
Some computer manufacturers use an "all inclusive" System Recovery
process which means that you cannot reinstall the bundled application
programs (such as Microsoft Office) without also reinstalling Windows
as well, which will wipe out everything that exists on your hard drive
including emails and personal data files.
Good luck
