I am afraid I know the answer but I have to ask anyway.
I have a drive on my WinXP SP2 system that just went nuts. If I opened
it in Windows Explorer, I saw only gibberish for folders and filenames
in the Root.
I rebooted the computer and now the only thing I can see is when
Windows tells me that the drive is not formatted.
Is there any tool out there that might be able to recover this? Or is
this something that needs to send to a disk recovery service?
Fortunately, the drive is not critical and because of that my last
backup is old, It would be nice to recover current data if at all
possible.
Thanks in advance to anything you can point me to.
