Help!!! Computer really sluggish.

Bought My computer a few months ago and it came with a free rebate offer for
Vista. Got the Cd Yesterday and installed it. Now my computer runs slow as
hell!! Takes forever to boot up to open IE or really anything else!!! I have
a compaz sr2010nx. 512mb 120Gb Hard drive amd sempron processor 3400+. Is
it my computer?

Yes, it's your computer. 512MB of RAM is very little for Vista. As
always, how much RAM you need for decent performance depends on what
apps you run, but for almost everyone, good performance starts at
around 1GB.
