Help - Clean Load of 64-Bit Ultimate Fails

I get to the first reboot in the install process and it shuts down but never
comes back. It just goes past the motherboard screens then the screen goes
black with the cursor flashing in the upper left corner. This is a new
system build and is my first attempted load of OEM 64-Bit Ultimate. Only
other thing I can think to add is I attempted with both dimms (4gb) and then
again with 1 dimm (2gb). I reformatted (/Q) between each attempt.

MoBo ASUS P5N-E SLI
Processor Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
Hard Drive Western Digital Caviar SE16 750GB
Video Card GeForce 8800GTS 320MB
Power AeroCool ZeroDBA-S620
CPU Fan ZALMAN Fan/Heatsink
RAM Kingston HyperX 4GB(2x2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM
Sound Card Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer
Card Reader Koutech Card Reader
Case Antec P182
OS Vista 64-Bit Ultimate

might try going into the BIOS and disable all devices not needed for the install.
like extra drives, usb ports, ETC....

And some posters say to install your good Graphics card after the install in
complete.

If this has already been said, igonore this, but if not.

The installation process for 4 megs or more is....

1. Install less than 4 megs.
2. Install system
3. Boot up, install all updates
4. Make sure the Hotfix for 4 megs is included in the updates
5. Reboot and make sure it is working properly
6. THEN reboot and install any memory more than 3 megs.

I can't tell from the messages if you have done this or not....

I had problems installing until i deleted the partion first.
Try deleting all partitions on the drive you are trying to install onto.
